Our Preschool Program

Spanish River Christian School believes that children are a gift from God. At SRCS, children are challenged to grow daily through hands-on, age-appropriate activities. Our purpose is to provide children with a quality education where Christian truth and values permeate all areas of instruction. Our students begin each day with prayer and devotion, attend weekly chapel services, memorize Scripture, and learn Bible songs.

Strong Foundations

Children will learn from developmentally appropriate, challenging activities throughout the Preschool Program. These include Circle Time, Large Group Time, Daily Learning Centers, Science Projects, Spanish, Music, Cooking, Computer Lab, Library, Gym, and Bible. Our core curriculum is listed below.

All classes are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including an interactive projector, a classroom computer, a document camera, and a set of iPads.  A digital portfolio is maintained for each student and tracks their activities on our touch-sensitive interactive projector- patterning, letter recognition, auditory learning skills, and storytelling.  Preschool students are engaged in Digital Storytelling projects and Skyping with other classes around the world using EPals. SRCS Preschool classes enjoy the cutting-edge Letters Alive augmented reality curriculum, which allows students to explore animals from around the world.  Students use interactive rugs, habitat cards, and interactive journals to reinforce letter recognition and sounds.
