Growing the Future.

While early adolescence can be challenging for young people and their parents, our Team of Christian educators sees the great opportunities that the Lord has set before us.

About Our Middle School.

Middle Schoolers come to us as children and leave as young adults in three short years. What happens in those three years often determines the path that each young adult will take from that point forward.

Because teachers profoundly impact young adolescents, we are humbled and privileged to be used by God to shape our future leaders in every aspect of their lives.

Our Middle School Team knows that God has called each of us to serve the needs of the students and families that He brings to our school. Under the Lord's guidance, we offer a Christ-centered program with high academic standards that focuses on nurturing each child as he or she grows "in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man."(Luke 2:52).

Middle School Enrichment

Accompanying our core classes in middle school is the Enrichment Rotation.

  • The sixth and seventh grade enrichment period consists of three courses; computer, physical education, and writing workshop.

  • Students in eighth grade are afforded the opportunity to select their enrichment rotation course. Choices include Spanish 1, Art, Computer, or Physical Education.

Also integrated into the enrichment schedule is Life Skills.  This curriculum seeks to equip students in the spiritual, social, and physical areas of their lives in accordance with biblical truths.

As some content is sensitive in nature, this curriculum is taught in a gender-separated environment. All content promotes abstinence, is taught from a biblical perspective by teachers/administrators with a strong Christian walk, and has been approved by the SRCS School Board.

We are cultivating next-generation leaders. We believe that in order to learn and grow, students must do more than passively receive information. They must take an active role in learning and leading each other towards a better understanding of the current challenge.

The Next Generation of Christian Leaders.

Beginning in preschool, students are given the opportunity to lead within the classroom as helpers. As students grow, they continue to take on more responsibilities in the school. Middle school students are able to be part of the following leadership opportunities.

  • Student Assistants

  • Event Greeters/Ushers

  • Athletics

  • National Junior Honor Society

  • Student Council

  • Chapel Leaders
