Important 2024-2025 Admissions Update

SRCS current grade level availability for the 2024-2025 school year is as follows:
Preschool through 1 st grade: Online Application remains CLOSED for both admissions and wait pool consideration
2 nd grade through 6 th grade: Online Application is OPEN for wait pool consideration only
7 th grade: Online Application is OPEN with limited space available
8 th grade: Please contact the ADMISSIONS department for curriculum and other requirements needed

Due to the large number of applications received from the time our 24-25 Online Application opened on November 1 through January 26, 2024, our Priority Application Deadline, the following grade levels are now CLOSED for both admissions and wait pool consideration:
Preschool 3-year-old classes
Preschool 4-year-old classes
Kindergarten
1 st grade

New Student Application Procedures
Application for the 2024-2025 school year is now open via Online Application on our website. Currently enrolled SRCS families are able to apply for new student admission via their FACTS Family Portal.
To begin the process of applying for a new student, you must first Create an Account.
Once you have successfully created your account, you may log in and Create a New Student Application.
Please note that once you have entered all of the required information, it is vital that you submit your application. Once the application has been submitted, you will not be able to go back to add or change information.
* A non-refundable application fee ($75 for Preschool // $175 for Grades K-7) will be applied for each student application.

Please note that it is the parent’s or guardian’s responsibility to ensure all required application documents are submitted and on file with SRCS. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for admission.
Admission Considerations
for all New Students
Families currently enrolled at SRCS will be given consideration before spaces are opened to the general public. Children with siblings in upper grades at SRCS will be given preference, provided the younger sibling is academically mature and ready for our program.
Preference will be given to families who support and meet all SRCS financial obligations in a timely manner.
Active members of Spanish River Church have priority over non-members who are not currently a part of SRCS.
Enrollment in preschool does not guarantee a continued spot in the preschool and/or kindergarten.

January 17, 2024: Kindergarten Application Submission Deadline for currently enrolled SRCS PreK Students
January 17, 2024: New SRCS Sibling Application Submission Deadline
New Sibling Application Submission Deadline for new SRCS sibling applicants to all grade levels (please note that new SRCS sibling applications will only be considered with preference when all eligible current students in the family have re-enrolled or applied for kindergarten).
January 26, 2024: NEW STUDENT (NOT CURRENT SRCS FAMILY) Priority Application Submission Deadline
For consideration for the 2024-2025 school year, a completed application, including all required application components, is due by January 26, 2024. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that all required application documents have been submitted and received by SRCS.
Applications will only be accepted after 1/26/24 for admissions consideration if space remains available in a grade level or for waitpool consideration if a grade level is full.
Admissions Testing dates for 2024-2025
February 7 and February 12, 2024: 2024-2025 Admissions Testing dates
Testing for applicants to grades 3 through middle school will take place on either Wednesday, February 7 or Monday, February 12. Testing times are to be determined. Testing for applicants to kindergarten through 2nd grade will be scheduled individually throughout January and early February 2024. Our Testing Office will contact applicant families to schedule testing.
2024-2025 Admissions Status Notification
Applicants meeting the 1/26/24 Priority Application Submission Deadline and administration of Admissions Testing (if applicable) will receive notification of admissions status on a rolling basis from mid-February 2024 through mid-March 2024.

Pastor’s Confidential Recommendation - (process initiated via Online Application)
Birth Certificates for accepted applicants will be submitted during the enrollment process
Parents of accepted applicants will be required to sign an enrollment agreement
* These documents are to be uploaded at the time of Online Application.
Kindergarten
Completed and submitted New Student Application (including application fee)
Kindergarten Readiness Screening (screening will be scheduled after application submission)
Teacher Recommendation (via Online Application)
Report Card - Most recent PreK report card or progress report*
Pastor’s Confidential Recommendation - (via Online Application if you have a home church)
Educational/Diagnostic or Psychological Evaluation (if applicable)*
Final applicants and their parents will meet with the Headmaster for a family interview.
*These documents are to be uploaded at the time of Online Application.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for admission. A processing minimum of one month is required.
