Hurricane Make-up Days

We have revised the 2017-2018 SRCS school calendar to reflect two hurricane make-up days:

  • Friday, October 20, is now a half-day Teacher Work Day (noon dismissal)
  • Friday, February 16, is now a regular, full school day

“Our family started attending Spanish River Church more than 10 years ago. At that time we enrolled our oldest daughter in preschool. She has since graduated and moved on to high school, and our youngest is now in sixth grade at SRCS.  SRCS has been a true blessing to our family. Everyone at the school from the individual teachers on up to the headmaster has been wonderful in every way. We feel very secure each day knowing that our children receive a very well rounded, Christian education in a safe and nurturing environment. After moving on to high school, we still hear comments from our oldest about how blessed she was to be able to attend SRCS.”                                                          ---- The Greer family

“We have been at SRCS for eight years (with nine to go!) and have loved this school! We are so grateful for this intimate, private, Christian setting that has such strong academics and technology. SRCS has the resources of a large school, while also giving us the opportunity to learn about and worship our Lord. As our son enters the middle school years, we believe SRCS has prepared him well for the years ahead. We have watched him grow into a wonderful young man, and SRCS has played a huge role in his development.”     ---The Danko family

“It’s January and my heart is so much lighter than it was at this time one year ago. My very bright and out-going little girl who loved people and loved to learn was so unhappy at [previous] school. The academic expectations were superficial—more about quantity of learning than quality of learning—and the meaningful friendships she longed for were similarly disappointing and shallow. We prayed for the opportunity to enroll her in SRCS, and the Lord finally opened the door for 3rd grade. Hallelujah! We are now halfway through the year and the difference in my child is amazing. She’s part of a family. She has friends and teachers who share her love for Jesus and a challenging, purposeful curriculum to inspire her intellectually and creatively. My daughter is thriving at SRCS.”       ----The Bosworth family

“As a single parent, moving to a new community and worried about where your child will go to school, Spanish River Christian was a blessing to me. I have never once regretted my decision to enroll my son. The staff has always been wonderful, supportive and encouraging whenever I needed them. I am so thankful to the teachers, who always took the time to talk to me if I needed anything. The middle school principal is awesome. I can’t say enough!”                                                                                                                     ----The Rossi family
